Why would you choose this $500 + $30/m option rather than just A) tether with existing smartphoneB) Spend the same amount on an iPadC) buy a mifi that is $99 + $50/m, but atleast it’s not tied to your car and you can take it anywhere.Who would actually pay for this and why? I’m curious…please give me your thoughts.
All of the methods mentioned above (I believe) have data usage caps. Streaming internet radio uses a fair amount of bandwidth, and 2-5 gigabytes would be used up quickly. It would go even faster on long commutes, where this is often used. Unless I missed something, the in-car Wi-Fi does not have a cap.
